Abstract
A 30-year-old female patient with steroid-dependent severe eosinophilic asthma and chronic eosinophilic pneumonia was successfully treated with mepolizumab for 15 months. When the patient applied to the16th month of mepolizumab treatment, she reported that she had an unplanned pregnancy and was 4 weeks pregnant. Biological treatment was discontinued and the patient was followed up with combination of inhaled corticosteroid (ICS) and long-acting beta agonist (LABA) and oral steroids. The patient had frequent exacerbations during follow-up and was treated appropriately. The patient gave birth to a healthy baby via normal spontaneous vaginal delivery at 39 weeks.
